After 20+ years of community outreach and federal after-school programs experience in Alabaster, Alabama.

Oscar & Margaret Cindy Hawkins of Kids 1st-Bridge of HOPE Ministry and some caring friends expanded and purchased its first ministry home in Clanton, Alabama.

In collaboration with the YMCA on MLK Day January 23, 2019, Kids 1st-Bridge of Hope Ministry were provided the opportunity to host its first Seeds of Kindness Award Event, family fun day with kids vs adults basketball games, live music, a free lunch, along with a community beautification project and much more…

Seed of Kindness Award Events are sponsored to help raises and promote positive leadership awareness and help encourage youth and friends to share their talents and gifts

literally through giving free service back to the community!

Our Seeds of Kindness Award is given to:

City, Community, and a Youth Leader that has shown great love for children in our community.

Our goal is to Help Save Our Children!

8:00am-10:30-Free Family Fun Basketball Games-YMCA-Clanton 8:00am-10:30-Beautification Project in Historic West End Neighborhood

*11:00am-Community Prayer-Awards/Serve (100)-Free Lunch-Live Gospel Music

(11:00am-In Front West End Grill-free lunch served–1211 2nd Ave N.-Clanton, Al.)

1:00pm-Bible Give a Way * Closing Prayer * Clean-up

Family Celebration Day

The public is invited to an open house at Kids 1st Awareness Youth and Bridge of HOPE Adult Job Resource Ministry Center. Free food, free backpacks, fun family games, and live music will be available. Enjoy a song called, “Imagine-Believe-Acheive” by the Youth of West End.

Date: Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 5pm – 7pm
